Back from Chansolme

Today, we (meaning the Northside group)left our sponsored city, Chansolme. We woke up and had a church service. Matt spoke, giving a sermon on potential. He did an awesome job. The people of Chansolme are awesome. They were so helpful as we were loading all of our mattresses onto our bus. It was so sad to see the people of Chansolme off. I was pretty sad about the whole thing. Our group and the people there had grown so much together over the past few days we were there through revivals, VBS, and interviewing. Each of us had our few little friends that we made, and it was sad to see them off.

Whenever we got back, we all just chilled. Then, an awesome oppurtunity to help came up. There was a concert being held. A blind guitar player with a beautiful voice was raising money for his young boy's hospital bill, who had died a few months back. I never got to go to the concert, but I heard it was heart touching. He came in after our nighttime devotionals to sing for us, and he sounded awesome. Today was such a unique day, and I believe that our mission group has grown so much together. I love it.
