This last summer, 2009, I went to Haiti. It was my second time to Haiti. This time it was much easier because I knew what to expect. But this trip was also very different from the first. One thing that was different was the amount of time spent at the actual mission center. The year before most of our time was spent within two hours of the center. On this trip though we spent most of our time out in Chansolme, La Baye. On this trip we went to the local towns and surveyed them to see what they needed most, this is also where we got our Haiti statistics. We found that they needed clean water, education, and food. When we left Chansolme we had run out of water and we were drinking Tampico juice. The trip was a blast. I met many new friends and games. I am looking forward to going each subsequent year.
