Hello everyone

Thanks for your prayers and your compassion in following us as we worked God’s plan in Romania. What a blessed time we had serving God to bring Him all the glory for we are his humbled servants. We have arrived home safely and even though it is Saturday I wanted to write about Wednesday when we had to say goodbye to Rachel, Dave and Iza.

Boy was this goodbye one of the hardest for me and I sure did not want to leave but wanted to stay longer in Romania. We woke up to a morning of spending time with Rach, Dave and Iza praying that time would just stand still a little longer. My mind was racing with so many thoughts of why so soon and can we stay longer. The air was filled with anticipation as we gathered our luggage for Adi to load the bus for our trip to Budapest to fly to London. The moment was somber as we all gathered to pray for Rachel. Lots of hugs and tears were shed as I was fighting to suppress my tears and emotions. For you see a special friendship has blossomed from God and I am forever grateful. Bonds too with the team that will last forever and the indulgences we all shared were amazing. Those bonds will never be broken and as Proverbs 18 notes, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. As we loaded the van and waved goodbye, those suppressed emotions flooded over as I looked to see Rachel through the window in tears. Tears flowed freely down my checks as S1 and I shared a Kleenex as we drove down the road.

Times like these are so hard and sad but when I look back I am filled with joy for our wonderful and fun filled time in Romania. God is so AMAZING!
