Every year, Operation Christmas Child delivers millions of shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, school supplies, etc. to children all over the world, most of whom have never received a gift before. Each child also receives a booklet "The Greatest Gift of All" in their own language, which tells them about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The programs offered by Power Ministries are growing in number. The longest standing program, "New Purpose Retreats", is a program for disabled people of all ages. Campers from 8-91 have attended these retreats for nearly 25 years. PM also provides Disabilities Awareness Education which is available to schools, churches and other organizations.
Christian Formation Ministries' vision is to reduce crime, one changed life at a time. They mentor individual offenders providing functional, emotional, and spiritual life skills training, support groups and social activities in a positive, Christ-centered environment designed to encourage, challenge and hold them acountable.
Newborn Lifeline's vision is to prevent the unsafe abandonment of newborns through a nationwide network of organizations and volunteers who will assist women in need of immediate intervention.
One Bright Night is a prom/special night for special needs individuals and people with disabilities. It is the goal every year for each person to feel precious and cherished! 2009 will mark the 4th annual OBN held at Northside.
Youth For Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. YFC has established Campus Life clubs in area middle and high school communities. YFC currently serves Floyd & Clark counties, but will be expanding into harrison, Crawford and Washington counties in 2009.
The Northside Food Panty is a ministry for both the body and soul. NFP is committed to serving the nutritional needs of those who, for various reasons, need food items. In addition, they try to minister to their emotional needs by being supportive listeners, empathizing and comforting many people who simply need a friend. In 2008, 2,340 families came to the NFP.
RX Help offers help to those who do not have prescription insurance and cannot afford the medications that they need. RXH averages about $50,000-$70,000 a month in free medications.

The 24/7 Prayer Team is committed to covering ministries in prayer every hour of the day. Members of the team recognize the value of prayer and have a passion for covering the church and mission partners in prayer for unique needs. They receive weekly prayer updates and spend 10-15 minutes praying each day for the focus of that week.
