Spring Cleaning? Donate Your Stuff.

March 28-29, April 4-5

When you clean out your closets this spring, what are you

going to do with those unwanted clothes? Don’t throw

them out. Give them to someone in need! We’re hoping

to ship more than 25,000 lbs of clothing to L.A.D.O.

Ministries, our mission partner in Colombia, South

America where Edgar and Julie Zuluaga are serving in a

community of over 600 displaced families. You can help support the mission and provide for people in need by cleaning out your closets and bringing your donated clothing and other items to Northside on March 28-29 and April 4-5.

How to Donate and Help:

1) Bring your donated items with you when you come to church on the weekends of March 28-29 and April 4-5. If you could give $1-2 per bag to help with shipping costs, great!

2) When you drive onto campus, look for the Donation Drop-Off truck. Volunteers will be there ready to unload your items directly from your vehicle to the container. Please don’t bring your donations into the building!

3) Finally, you and your family can join us for one of the Packing Parties on either Saturday, April 4 from 9am-noon, or Sunday afternoon, April 5 from 2-5pm. There’s enough work for 200 people, so bring your family or small group help. There’s no sign-up—just show up. Look for the Donation Drop-Off truck in front of The Foundry. Items needed:

We’re specifically looking for good used clothes. Shoes are always a big need. Please bring only “good” used items—no holes, stains, etc. Those items will be pulled out and discarded. We’ll only send them our quality items.

Other ‘wish list’ items:

Backpacks filled with school supplies — 4 notebooks, pencils and hand sharpener, scissors, crayons, colored pencils, eraser, geometry set) School uniforms – any navy pants and white button shirts Bed sheets, blankets, and towels Spanish Bibles 20 6’ lightweight folding tables Plastic chairs — 100 adults, 100 kids Sewing machines Fax machine Desktop computers Plastic cups and plates, silverware Refrigerator Gas stove Television Small sound system
